Why is this site different from most sites?

We have been designing and instituting websites for about five years now, and during that time new technology has evolved that has taken the web site from pure static pages that just sit there, whether thay have animation or not.

Today's needs for website integration are far more complex than a header image at the top, a flash scrolling "live action" animation, a contact page and a link for an email.

Todays website is a portal that can be used from both ends, by the visitor from the front end, by the administrator from  both the back and front end, and now the user can actually log into a live interface area where data and information may be dropped.

Take a blog for example, this is an interface where the owner of the blog can post statements (I'm simplifying this) and people may then read the statement and comment on this original statement, which then goes on and on as wanted.

This site is not a blog, but incorporates the ability of registered users to post information. Also, this site incorporates the latest "open source technology" for the saving of this information, the distribution of this information, as well as the bloking of use of this information.

This may be a lot of words that may not speak to you at the gut level, but it's basically called a "content management system". If your site is not structured this way, your site may be floating in the classification of

"YESTERTECH".
