This is one of our favorite ever photoshoots. Our dear friend Liz Sanchez, owner of Liz Sanchez Stables, North Valley of Albuquereque, offered to us and Modern Arabian Horse Magazine, full access to her farm, stables, and best of all the use of some beautiful champion Arabian and half-Arabian horses.
Thes are horses with names like Jerico Sva (Bubba), Jerico MP (Riko), Heritage Regal Fire (Fred) and Apollos Spitfire (Spitty). Horses bred from world champions, and themselves champions. Plus, we had the assistance of Liz herself, Gail Budd, Nancy Walton, Sydney Dazzo, Christina Frank...our beautiful models Celestia (fancy that - a model with one name), Candace G (no relation to Kenny G), and Kin Luebcke (Arabian Horse Youth of the Year).
Photo and wardrobe assistants were Janis and Robert Jackson, Kathy Gomez, Nathan Rodriquez. And the hair designs were by the one and only Hermone Montoya (505-243-8064). Hermone is not only the hairdresser of choice, but provides our photoshoots with a comedy routine that would be rated "Adults Only" in any comedy venue.
