The great thing about the Southwest is of course the people and the diverse cultural influences. But, there is also the magnificent landscape, the untainted vistas, the colors, the light.

This is what brought us here in the first place, and this has kept us here in the "land of enchantment". Peaceful, serene valleys, majestic mountains, quirky Santa Fe, restful Taos, all provide beautiful backgrounds and environments for your catalog or editorial photo shoot.

Come to New Mexico for a working vacation, or send your product to us. It's easier and cheaper to ship things to us than to courier them across Manhatten!

We have worked this light for 2o years and understand what it takes to shoot here.

On the right here, we have Val Kilmer and Tracy Lind, both actors of renown, and both shot in New Mexico. Val Kilmer's photo has appeared on three magazine covers, while Tracy has been featured in a fashion spread in Cowboys & Indians.

These are two different approaches to shooting in the hard light of New Mexico. Val gave us 45 minutes to shoot at his house (honestly) so complicated lighting was totally out of the question. It was done with diffusion and reflectors.

Traci was an all day shoot with about 15 garments, so we had to work in a way that looked consistent, no matter what the sun was doing. We used strobes, overhead diffusion and one cigar.

Just think about it, beautiful Santa Fe, beautiful landscapes, beautiful photos. You can give your project a distinctive look and have a good time doing it!
